Long before we even got engaged and thought about our Honeymoon, a friend sent us an email with a PowerPoint slideshow about an underwater restaurant. We couldn’t believe our eyes as we saw these 6 tables with the beautiful blue ocean overhead, fish, rays and other sea life swimming all around you. A view like no other!

We didn’t know where it was but we were determined to find out. Turned out it was the Ithaa restaurant at the Conrad Hilton Rangali Island in the Maldives.
We decided we had to make that our Honeymoon destination! The only registry we did was through Honeyfund.com which fully paid for the vacation of our dreams!

If you don’t know where the Maldives is, don’t worry…we didn’t either. The Maldives is a chain of islands off of the southwestern tip of India. It took us 4 flights and a sea plane to our hotel, but traveling that far was worth it to get to such a beautiful place and have an unforgettable experience.
